Before the training or study visit

In previous studies, such as the MODE project, it is suggested that the impact of mobility activities is mainly on a personal level and to a lesser degree on a professional and institutional level. Improved language skills and intercultural competence are some of the things mentioned by former grant holders. For many participants this surely agrees with their own expectations and motivation for attending a study visit or training.

Inserting the notion of collecting and sharing information at an early stage may therefore sett off networking processes among participants. A FAQ file on your NA web site may serve this purpose.

When notifying about the selection outcome you could inform the participants about the possibility of networking. If sending the decision by e-mail a link could easily be included to the NA web site in general and more specifically to a link containing examples of past mobility and network experiences. Preparatory seminars for participants could also offer this possibility.

You may also consider organizing seminars for study visit or training providers and there introducing the idea of networking. A section of the NA web site could also provide useful information for study visit or training providers.
