Preparation & planning the training or study visit

Setting up a web site in order to provide participants with more detailed information, is recommended.

A study visit or an in-service training course has both a pedagogical and a social aspect, and this should be reflected in the program. Good working conditions are essential for creating a good group dynamics and stimulating future networking.

It is also important to create a good atmosphere among the participants in a group. A good idea is to have some ice breaking activities the first day. If you plan some social activity, e.g. a European market, which implies that participants bring something, tell them in advance.

The more specific the topic of the discussion is, the more likely you are to reach interesting conclusions and encourage future networks between participants.
